Sharing

Let’s see what options Trackingplan provides you when it comes to sharing:

Share your tracking plan

If you want to share your tracking plan with developers or other people in your organization without giving them editing permissions, you can use a permalink.

This way, if a user accesses your tracking plan via a permalink, they will be identified automatically as a Viewer, without the need to register it as a new user.

For it, just click on the share button you’ll find at the top of your dashboard.

Moreover, in the Sharing section of your Settings & Members menu, you can choose to show or hide daily hits and property samples from users who access your tracking plan through a shared permalink.

Export as CSV

Another option for sharing is to export your tracking plan as a CSV to export your tracking plan data, share it, and manipulate your data however you’d like to.

The information provided in our CSV will enable you to see not only the daily hits of your events but also the properties and the specifications defined for each of them, such as their type and required constraints.

Moreover, you can also export your Pixels Summary as CSV.

Share events

If you just need to share a specific event with other members of your organization, click on the share icon on the bottom right of the event.

You can either choose to share the link of that event or copy the event specifications to a clipboard in text format.

  • Copy Event Specifications: This will export your event specifications in text format.
  • Share link to this event: This will create a link only to that event so you can share it with other members of your organization without making them register as new users.

Share lists of warnings

By filtering your warnings by category and type in your Overview Tab, you can send those lists to the team in charge of fixing them so they can focus on addressing specific issues efficiently.

For it, just group your warnings by their category (specification/traffic) and type you’d like to tackle for the moment and click on the share button you’ll find at the top of your dashboard.

The permalink generated will only show the list of warnings you’ve previously selected.
